What Families Ask Us

"Can you support someone with a tracheostomy or ventilator?"

Yes, we specialize in complex respiratory care including tracheostomy management and ventilated support. Our nursing team has extensive experience with these needs and provides 24/7 monitoring in a calm, homelike environment that feels very different from hospital.

"Is this a hospital?"

No, Kings Lodge is a specialist care home with clinical expertise. We provide the medical care your loved one needs but in a warm, homelike setting. Think comfortable bedrooms, family areas, gardens, and a calm atmosphere - very different from the clinical feel of hospital wards.

"How quickly can someone move in?"

We understand this is often urgent. Once we receive a referral, our clinical team reviews it within 24 hours. If we can meet the person's needs, we aim to arrange admission as quickly as possible - often within days rather than weeks.
